For sale are several extinct mako shark teeth. These teeth were found off the coast of South Carolina and are mostly greyish-black in color. We have several of these teeth available. The extinct mako shark is scientifically named Isurus Hastalis (or is sometimes classified under Cosmopolitodus Hastalis).
- The tooth you'll receive will resemble the teeth shown in the pictures, but it will not be identical.
- Relative dating has been used to date these to the late eocene - early pleistocene eras.
These teeth measure between 1 3/4 inches to a little over 2 inches long.
